Last March 22, 2009, Ka Louie Tabing of DZMM and his Pangkat Kaunlaran, held their meeting cum seminar at Ato Belen’s Farm attended by about 150 people coming from Isabela, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Samar and Quezon.
Mr. Belen discussed about how to make organic compost and effective microorganisms (EM). Other speakers were Dr. Ched Umali Garcia of Bio-N, Dr. Reynaldo Lantin (UPLB) about cacao production and Ka Louie Tabing about his desire to form an organization representing various sectors to help alleviate agriculture in the country. ■
